Shuttle racking is a modern storage solution that has evolved from drive-in racking systems. Unlike traditional drive-in racking, shuttle racking eliminates the need for forklifts to enter the storage lanes. Instead, forklifts handle pallets on the edges while shuttle vehicles manage internal pallet movements.When storing items, forklifts place pallets at the front of a specific row and level of the rack. The shuttle vehicle then moves the pallets to the back of the rack using remote control. When retrieving items, the shuttle vehicle brings the pallets to the end of the guide rail for easy pickup by forklifts.Shuttle racking systems address the drawbacks of drive-in racking, such as slow access speeds and system instability. They make efficient use of warehouse space, reduce wait times during operations, and are ideal for storing large quantities of a few product types.

Shuttle Pallet Rack:It is designed for storing a few varieties and large quantities of similar goods with very high space utilization.Goods are stored and removed from the same side, or done from the opposite side by the "first-in, first-out principle.It's especially suitable for standard goods units.
Features of Shuttle Pallet Racking:
1. Shuttle pallet racking is a special made racking system for shuttle which based on the structure of Drive-in racking.2. Depth of this racking system could be 30-60m, which is much bigger than normal Drive-in racking.
3. This system doesn't need the forklift to pick up goods inside the lane, but a shuttle instead.
4. Shuttle pallet racking has a good safety performance.
5. It is suitable for storing goods of large quantity by small varieties, such as food, chemical,
Tobacco industry, it is also the best choice for cold operation storage.
